A descriptive narrative essay seeks to provide a vivid description of a situation, person or item such that they too can see it in their mind's eye as the narrator saw it in person. As this definition implies, a descriptive narrative essay involves the use of a lot of descriptive tools such as similes, adverbs and adjectives.
